Guest guest Posted May 31, 2002 Report Share Posted May 31, 2002 -- we weaned Zonegran quickly (three weeks) without adverse effect when we started the diet but were still on Depakote. Kepra, on the other hand, seemed to increase seizure activity. I guess its an individual thing. The zonegran had only been partly effective to begin with (and the behavioral side effects were unmanageable). Hope it gets better for you and Jackie. Wish I had something more informative to say.
