Guest guest
Hi all, I am the mother of Cody and Jake both with Mito complex 3 deficiency. I'm writing today about a happy moment but also very scary. Cody will be having his trach plugged and hospitalized for observation on Aug 10. My question is has anyone experienced having a trach trial plugging and what should I expect? I'm concerned that just maybe he may be more tired with the trach plugged but very optimistic that he can do this. Please respond if you have any help what so ever. Guest guest
Hi, Tammy. When you say " plugged " , do you mean the trach tube removed and the orifice plugged to check performance in unassisted breathing? tracheostomy plugging > Hi all, I am the mother of Cody and Jake both with Mito complex 3 > deficiency.
