Guest guest
I received my Social Security Disability last month. It was a bit of a shock because I got it the first time. I didn't know I had gotten it till I received the letter to set up my permenent password. I had received a letter about my daughter getting benifits from me a few days before. I didn't think anything about that letter. So I thought well maybe I was approved for benifits. So I checked my bank account online. I about fell out of my chair on the amount that was in it. I applied in August so I got a years back pay plus the last four months of 08. My husband had ordered two books online about filing for disability. One is Disability Workbook for Social Security Applicants by M. . The other is How to Get SSI and Social Security Disability An insiders Step by Step Guide by Mike . It was the best 30 dollars we ever spent. They tell you what Social Security is looking for when you apply. It wants a time line from when your condition started to present day. They also want to see a medical trail. My husband worked on all of that for me as I knew with my pain issues that I would not be able to get all the data we needed. It was a bit stressful but well worth all the work he put into getting the information. So if anyone has questions feel free to email me rucrzyyy61@... from Missouri
