Are u on now?? I am waiting desperately to see what someone thinks

of my something weird post. What the heck do you think is going on

That is scary! I have been in my fair share of bad centers but I have also been

in some wonderful centers. Personally, I felt that wasn't the right place for

my dd because of her personality which is why I continued to do daycare from my

home so she could stay in a smaller environment.

- How does a child that young get pink eye??? and why was this

fever not noticed and why is a child Bare foot at that age and at this time of

the year..... Not like her feet were all hot and sweaty...... I am anti daycare

but Even still she deserves better care then she got that day..........Hope she

gets better quick........ Take care of you too... And hope you get some sleep

tonight

I agree completely! Personally, I don't think I could ever work at a center

because I like the one on one and like you said, having those kids as your own.

It means a lot to me to see one of " my " kids grow up and become great kids!

- How does a child that young get pink eye??? and why was this

fever not noticed and why is a child Bare foot at that age and at this time of

the year..... Not like her feet were all hot and sweaty...... I am anti daycare

but Even still she deserves better care then she got that day..........Hope she

gets better quick........ Take care of you too... And hope you get some sleep

Ya know its funny you mention listening to it because while I do not promote

smoking I never heard the saying it makes your soul black LOL NO clue where she

got that....... I Have Family who are well to do... My aunt in fact who is

borrowing me the rent and you know ... You would never know it... She is very

giving... Bought my mom a stove for her Bday and Yet she doesn't see this as out

of the ordinary...... She takes one of my kids to Disney each year and yet she

shops Rummages and second hand stores... AS for as Hand me downs go Most of the

second hand clothes I get the kids look new or almost new and when Rissa was in

Preschool the teacher asked me to stop dressing her so nice because they worried

when the paints were out Etc.... I told her The outfits clarissa wears are under

$3 a piece at the second hand store let her be a kid..... She can paint in

them..... The teacher was shocked.. A few weeks ago I found a brand new Tag

still on Eeyore shirt bought at Walt Disney world at the second hand store for

2.50 Seems someone got it and must not have liked eeyore to me it was a great

find lol........... My sister even tried to steal it out of the cart lol

I felt like I was inferior when married Cheri. Her parents

live in a nice house and they both work high paying jobs. I din't

know if we could compete with them when it came to buying the

grandkids things. The first birth party we went to ( adopted

Cheri's two older kids) after they got married Cheri's mom bought in

a little walker that had blocks with it. She said she just picked it

up at a yard sale. They also put a few dollars into bank accounts

that they have opened up for the grandkids for their birthdays. So

seeing she bought a birthday present at a yard sale made me feel a

whole bunch better. Cheri's mom and sister in law are about as big

of a yard sale fanatic as I am. My kids were dressed in hand me

downs and yard sale clothes most of their lives. Cheri and I went to

a church yard Sale a few months ago and Juna was so bummed because

she had to go to work and couldn't come. I guess my love for a good

bargain is being passed down.

I am glad that le and Rissa are listeing to some very sound

advice about drugs and smoking.

When I worked in daycare at this one specific daycare I had preschool age.......

Well I went to get milk for snack and I seen a baby about 8 months sitting on

the floor screaming... I asked what was up .... The teacher replied he's

sick,,,, I said maybe if you Rock him hell calm down she said NO I am not

touching him he may be contagious.... I thought Screw you..... I said fine

switch rooms she's said with Pleasure.... I rocked him to sleep and when uncle

came (he was a Dr I didn't know this) He said Has he had anything for pain I

told him when and how much . He said is there a blanket I can use over night to

take him in so I do not have to wake him I can just put him in his car seat and

wrap him in it.... I said let me check.... Well the owner said NO he should have

brought one..... I though BITE ME........ I took Clarissas sleeping bag from the

preschool class and told him to use that.... They also neglected a child with CP

because none wanted to change him being as he was 4.... I called his mom from

home at her home and we talked for a long time........I told her I was quitting

and worried noone would take care of him at all anymore......There was also an

asthmatic child who was bad wheezing and I called mom and she said it would be a

half hour before she got there .... I said Ok Called her back on her cell to

tell her he had no inhaler left it was empty... She asked why noone told her I

said I didn't know I offered to stick rissas inhaler part in his mouth piece and

give him 2 puffs mom gave verbal ok since it was exact same meds and They told

me they wouldn't have done that I thought it was for legal reasons and found out

it was for Greed reasons. I had paid for that med and she should have had one

there... Well They should have told her it was out.. and I will not allow a

child to suffer...... I am glad I quit there.. Rissa came only on Fridays when

she didn't have Preschool and She went on lunch with me that's how little I

trusted them.......

Oh there are some good ones and good teachers........... I think You just have

to really watch them ......... I think showing up unexpected is the best thing

you can do.......... To me and everyone is different...... Success is not how

much $$ I make or what degrees I have ......... I say this as I work for one

lol...... Its Hearing Kaylee beg her mom to let her sleep here.... its when I

went to s house once and he seen me coming and Ran all the way to me

screaming CINDY, Its when I wake and realize that le whom I was once a

baby sitter for I am now a mom figure....... Its knowing that When One of my

extra kids had chicken pox I took 3 buses to get her blanket from her house and

take it to her at the hospital when she was admitted... Those things count to

me..... Those are the things that make me proud of the job I have..... These

kids are mine in my heart..... I love them all. I cry when they start school

..... I never miss a Bday and to make them laugh or have them fall asleep on me

is pure happiness......... I remember once was so sick and his moms work

wouldn't let her leave.... I held him and walked him and comforted him Just as

his mom would have. I did this for her peace of mind to know he was taken care

of but I also did it because that's What we do when OUR kids are

sick,........... I tell my moms From when you drop them off till you pick them

up they are MINE........ Which means they will be treated as such....... Sure I

pick on Kaylee and tell her she's got smelly feet but She tells me eeyore is

ugly lol its all in fun...... I see that these kids love me too and that means I

am doing my job right ...

I told I worry about When Kaylee Goes to school... That I wouldn't see

them anymore..... She said well if you buy the house across the street from me

lol and You can always take them or stop bye...... That made me feel good....

She is very good to me at xmas time.... I have all the Disney plates

(collectables) and A crystal Eeyore clock.... I remember everything I got from

those kids even down to the ornament..... I remember all those things from

le too.... Every time I look at my clock I think of them...... and how

dropped it and thought for sure it was broke.... Thank god for

Styrofoam..... lol I have memories of these kids that I can not forget.... Like

Kaylee putting on my bra when I was folding laundry and told me to look at me

lol she stood there so proud lol and it was upside down lol..........or the time

she dropped the kitten in the potty and told me he had to go..... I sit her

smiling as I write this I think I should save this for when I am down........

Just checking..... Albuteral is hard on little ones because of the rapid heart

rate it causes...... We use albuteral but I was hoping She was on the xopenex...

Update on Us

I missed lots of mail from yesterday, so I don't mean to ignore anyone,

but it has been a long few days. As you all know, Bean is pretty sick.

Well, she was getting worse instead of better, so she ended up back at the

doctor yesterday morning for the 3rd time since Saturday. Poor little girl, she

couldn't nurse at all or even take a bottle because she couldn't breathe out of

her nose at all, and she was not happy about it. Also, in the middle of the

night 's ear with the tube still in it started to drain, so we knew he had

an ear infection. We spent two hours with the doctor yesterday, and thank the

Lord it was my favorite doctor, Doctor Thad. He gave a breathing

treatment and her lungs sounded better after that, so he let us borrow a

Nebulizer machine from the office that really no one knew was there (he said he

had found it in the store room). What other doctor would do that? Certainly

NOT that witch that she saw a few days ago! Also, he had to change all of her

medications, since they were obviously not working, and he was able to give us a

good portion of the new meds for her and for in samples. Even still, it

cost us an arm and a leg between all the scripts and doctor visits this week.

Bean has to have breathing treatments twice a day for the next week,

as well as the medications. She and seem to be better this morning a bit,

but she still is having trouble eating with her nose so stuffed up. It has been

a long few days and nights at the Hart house.
