bathtime is traumatic here as well. It takes two of us to hold set down so

we can wash her hair. It is just horrible!

Hair washing.....ugh!

I really hate washing Alec's hair. I dont like doing Greggory's

either but depending on his mood it is sometimes ok. But when it

comes to Alec it is always screaming and crying. I hate it. Just

needed to vent that.

Right here with ya, Jacquie.

Alec may be too big for this, but the best way I hace found is to get into

the bathtub with him. I can hold his back against my front and lean back

with him a little -- enough to keep the water out of his face. If you're

not comfortable being naked with him you could put a swim suit on. Tho I'm

sure you've got your own method(s) worked out by now!

The things we go through that nobody else in the world would understand. :(

Thats a good idea. I will give it a try. Basically I just wash Alec's

hair as quickly as possible while trying to pin him down. Everything

we tried before failed so now I just try and get it over with as

quickly as I can!

who never thought she would be writing to a group of women about how

to wash her 4 yr old's hair. LOL

I feel for you Jacquie. Mark is the same way, that's why I cut all

of his hair off. Buzz cut. This way it's easy to shampoo and rinse

and less time for screaming.

I am hearing all these toilet episodes. So far I've been lucky

enough that Mark doesn't do that.(knock on wood) He loves the water

and sometimes takes 5 baths a day (without the hair washing). He

will sit in front of the sink and play for hours or spend hours

outside with the garden hose. I hope he doesn't start with the

toilet, I feel lucky now.

Alec has an overgrown buzz cut. LOL For easier cutting and washing ;)

Time to go back to the barber's tomorrow!
