Guest guest
Hi , I wonder why they thought it was important to give you Chantix after surgery. I never seem to understand doctors unless the " spell " things out for me. I didn't go to school to be a doctor lol. I am glad your doctor was, and still is, wanting to help you with getting through any such thoughts. Joe hasn't taken Chantix in over a year. He tried it for as long as he could handle the side effects, such as the nausea. I don't know, even to this day, if he had the suicidal thoughts or not. It is very difficult for almost anyone to admit to having suicidal thoughts. It's such a " taboo " subject, yet it is also feared and worrisome to so many. It`s not always easy for a person to admit they are having suicidal thoughts, but because of all the pain I`ve had in my life I promised my doctor I would call him first if I had those thoughts. Together we got me past that bad time.
