Guest guest
Beta-blockers may lower your BP and will reduce and restrict your pulse. In some people this is enough to cause problematic low BP. The most important thing is to be careful sitting up from lying down and standing from sitting. With each of these moves you should pause for a while, 1/2 a minute, before proceeding onward (either to standing or to moving) to make sure you give your system time to adjust and maintain enough blood flow to your brain so that you don't pass out, fall and injure yourself. Some people cannot take these drugs due to them causing to slow a heart rate or too low a BP or a combination of both. The only way to know is to try them. Tim, good luck with the tube change. I hope all goes well. Steve, congrats on the good check up report. That's wonderful news. Aubrey
