Guest guest
After some mis-communication and mistaken identity, I will not post about this issue any longer. I did receive an email from Dr Levin and I believe he is going to post about it. I am so sorry for those who have had to postpone surgeries due to this surcharge. I totally respect Dr Levin, as this is not his policy, but the hospitals. My only suggestion is that perhaps we can contact the administration of the hospital and object to this. Do not let this deter you from using Dr Levin, as he is a wonderful surgeon and dedicated to each and every one of you. It may take a little longer to get your surgeries, but as my husband always says, " things don't happen to you, they happen for you " . There is a life lesson in this issue, and whether it's to choose to live a healthier lifestyle or to be more tolerant of others who have a weight problem or any other type of problem, or both, then we should look at that. Who knows? Perhaps this will give some of us the kick in the pants we need to choose healthier foods and not to overeat, but stop when you get full. My prayers are with you all and I am here for each and every one of you. God bless.
