Guest guest
Ebony has really been frustrated lately and I haven't been able to figure out what is going on. Well this last weekend she would not take her night meds and so I was frustrated and she was frustrated. She kept crying and carrying on and dragging me from place to place and then not wanting what she " asked " for. I was about ready to pull out my hair. Then on Sunday, my brain turned on and I realized that her trampoline was still in the garage (she had gotten into some grout sealer stuff and smeared it on the trampoline so I took it outside to clean it) Anyway, I brought that in and replaced the batteries on her tape player. She has been a different girl. Why does it take sooooo long sometimes for me to figure out what in the heck is going on with her?! On a positive note.....I FINALLY got everyone's paperwork back for the application for the service dog. I had been waiting on the doctor's paperwork and a couple of letters of recommendation. I mailed it out today! YAY!! I feel like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders. Now I just need to wait for a reply. Wish us luck everyone. I feel like this would truly free her and me. I think it would be such a help. I also camped out at my doctor's office today until they gave me the letter of medical necessity that I needed for my insurance appeal for my gastric bypass. That is all I have needed for the last two weeks. They take forever. Well today I was there for fifty minutes waiting for the transcription department to type up the letter. She made corrections three times and sent it back to be retyped. LOL. I have been in their office three times a week for the last two weeks and called several times as well. Every single receptionist knows me. LOL. So that too went in the mail today! Whew! Now I just need to wait. I will call on Friday to see if they recieved it and I will keep calling until they give me the " right " answer. I found out what the pcp thing was. It is basically someone from a home health care provider service that comes into your home and can help with dressing, bathing, feeding, etc. I don't think that is something we will persue. I did get the number of two other providers of in home therapy. However, the one that is most recommended does not service my area . So, they are going to check some things out and try to give me a call this week yet to let me know if there are any other providers that come here. There is one other number that I have to call, but it is not as highly recommended as the one I called today. I will call tomorrow though and find out what they are about. That is what is going on with me. I am sorry to say that I went no mail again. I am just overwhelmed right now and just cannot keep up. I am going to go to the site though and keep in contact with the group. If anyone has anything they particularly want me to see...please put my name in the subject line so I am sure to see it. I love you guys. You are awsome. Tamara

Even with the kid who do NOT have speech deficits. > > On a positive note.....I FINALLY got everyone's paperwork back for > the application for the service dog. It gives me warm fuzzies. :-) I want to try to get to the site every other day or so, but this list is so high volume that it really crams up my mailbox. It is just easier to come here. Thanks again, Salli. Tamara

It is just > easier to come here. > My mailbox will only hold a hundred messages so I have to go regularly or forget it. Putter opens Outlook Express for me at least a couple times a day to write HIS messages (most of which he saves under drafts and I look them over every so often to see what he is thinking about). But I just hate it when my mailbox gets clogged because Putter leaves Outlook Express open and just minimizes it and the messages keep trying to come in. By the time I know what has happened, I will have as many as twenty copies of the same message. It is a big fat pain and that is one of the reasons I went no mail.
