Guest guest
LOL I smacked her enough when we were kids, guess I can't do that anymore lol I talked to my mom and she was a bit shocked to hear all this especially since my sister lives with her. I didn't go over there today as I was so mad and my mom said she would talk to her about it. I do feel better for letting it all go but I sure was mad this morning. I am sorry about your sister, I just can't believe how some family act. Take care and thanks for listening to me. Guest guest
ugh!! ear infections are horrible!!! My Jay still has problems when he drinks pop he feels the bubbles in his ears and eyes. They told me there was nothing we could do. He had tubes only once though. He is now 13 we haven't had any problems since he was about 10 so hopefully he has outgrown his problems, now if we could just get the bipolor undercontrol he would be doing great!!! Guest guest
I have to say I wish he had grown out of it sooner but at least it is gone. The bipolar is a never ending saga as he surges through puberty we have to keep changing the meds. Get stable for about 2 months then wham the hormones kick in, I hope by the time he is 18 it is all over lol IF I LET HIM LIVE THAT LONG!!! LOL jk but sometimes it is soooo hard to deal with. Glad to hear is feeling better, love that name lol my is 11 Frannie http://www.pac-ach-int.com/315622083\ If life deals you lemons, make lemonade; if it deals you tomatoes, make Bloody 's. Guest guest
Wow, I am thankful that and a started outgrowing them younger than that! a is 7 and Jake is 4, but neither have had them like when they were 0-2. The tubes did not cut down on the number of infections, just allowed them to drain is all. I hope you can get your son's bipolar under control as well, how awful that must be for children! Guest guest
Just start to keep an eye on the signs! Forrest would always get horrible diarrhea when he had an ear infection ( pre medication ). He was nursed until he was 7 or 8 months. He got tubes in his ears at 16 months old after having a total of 10 serious ear infections. Some kids eustachean tubes ( connection from ear to throat ) are just more prone to it. We would keep logs for the doctors so they would know yes we know this is not a typical sign for most kids but it is for my kid. They would actually have me hold the boys sitting semi upright for about 30 min after they fell asleep nursing / bottle whichever to help keep the fluid going down instead of over to their ears! PS Whomever ordered this snow is in BIG BIG BIG trouble! Its only been snowing for about 3-4 hours and we went from it melting when it hit to having about 1 1/2 inches on the ground. All the schools were closed etc by 9 am! These Kentucky people make me laugh sometimes cuz they don't know how to deal with all this white stuff! Re: Frannie~ ugh!! ear infections are horrible!!!
