Hi everyone,

Well we had back in the er last night. He was fine all

day (besides his fits that are at this point being called tantrums)

and all of a sudden he had a fever of 102.4. We gave motrin and it

seemed to go down a little but we couldn't get it down past 101.

Talked to the doc on call and she told me not to be to concerned

about the fever. I let her know because of his heart if we can't get

it down past 101 that sometimes his regular doc wants us to go ahead

and call to make sure we are doing everything we can. Well... his

fever went back up again (all in about a 3 hr time period with motrin

in him still) and it hit 104. At that point my husband told me to

take him to the er. At the same time fever started his eyes started

doing the goopy thing like pink eye. Well the diagnosis was pink

eye, his white blood count was elevated slightly also. They gave him

a shot of an anitibiotic because of the elevation of white blood

cells for precaution do to his " history " . The er doc said that

sometimes with eye infections fever occurs. never runs

fever (especially 104 degree fever) with pink eye but I guess there

is a first for everything!! What is really crazy is we just got over

pink eye two weeks ago and it is back again. It really likes his

eyes. They did a blood culture also so we have to wait on the

results of that. On top of all this I went to the doc yesterday and

I have tonsilitis and an ear infection. Everyone keeps telling me to

get some rest - yea right like that is going to happen. Well thanks

for listening to our saga that is going on now in our house. I have

to go tend to now he is crying :(.
