Guest guest
Becks, I hate to tell you this, hon, but boys don't get over the teenage stuff until they are around 40, and then they go through their mid-life crisis. LOL As a friend of mine used to say, "The only difference between men and wine is that wine matures." LOL My boys have karate class tonight, so I get a couple of hours of peace in the van while I wait. I usually take my CD player and a book and just veg out. As long as it's not too hot, I'm fine outside in the fresh air. I park under a tree to avoid sunlight, especially on these long summer evenings, prop my feet up on the passenger seat and relax. Am stiff as a board after two hours of this, but sure do enjoy the quiet. Lately, I seem to need to sleep more during the day. Not sleeping much at night again, so fall asleep at the kitchen table, or while sitting in an old patio chair while I weed the planter boxes. I have been known to fall asleep on the commode when I am wearing the potty princess tiara, too. Very weird. Welp, gotta go. Time for my morning nap before I fall asleep right here at the keyboard. More later in this never ending saga. Love, MM
Guest guest
Hi MM, Yeah the cold is mostly head crap......which causes a problem sleeping since I need to breath through my nose for my CPAP. no biggie! I'll deal with it. I'm trying to be "nice" and not show my butt. However these Dr.s with attitude of GOD are starting to tick me off totally! Nice is not getting me treated! And then they tell me to get rid of my stress! 3/4's of the stress is a Dr who will not listen! The other 1/4 is the foster parent system. chris and I have decided when is done with the agency, so are we! I can't begin to tell you all the crap I have been through. My poor son has had to deal with this his whole life. I love my son with all my heart and the pain and suffering we have gone through to keep him has been like labor to me! *laff* I am currently waiting to hear from SS disability on whether they will grant my disability or not. The judge was not very understanding, so he sent me to one of "their" Dr.s and that was the shortest Dr. appoinment I have ever had. 5 mins. in and out! So I am praying I got something to help me out in all of this. I'm glad Reesey is doing well. Tell Randy to hurry up and get through this teen stage thing! I tell everyday I can't wait till he is 25! *laff* Well I'm gonna go get ready for work. Love, Becky minniemyno@... wrote: Hiya Doc Becks, LOL I hear you loud and clear. I sometimes feel like no more docs, too, but I have found two or three I can work WITH. I had to yell a little, show off a little (my rapidly diminishing intelligence, artworks, writings, etc.) to make them sit up and notice that I am a PERSON, not a file number. However, once we established some ground rules, we have formed a mutual respectful society, listen to each other, do our homework and try to help each other in my treatment. It is working so much better than just passively letting someone tell me what to do, or not to do, or to listen to one more jerk tell me, "It's all in your head." Speaking of heads, I hope your cold is a mild one, not in your chest. Take care, get some rest, and if I lived closer I'd send you a carton of homemade soup. Guest guest
Becks, Well, at least his heart's in the right place...I think. LOL Tell him to add a can of water pack chicken to the ramen noodles, a half bag of frozen mixed veggies, and a little green onion and red pepper. Let it cook for a bit before adding the noodles, and it makes a passable chicken soup. Love, MM
Guest guest
Barb, I'm not the one who has a cold, it's Becky. She was writing to me about her son and the Ramen noodles. Guess it was a little confusing, there, for a minute. Sorry about that. I'm just dealing with the usual...skin rashes, lesions, mouth sores, fevers, backaches, etc. You know the drill, right? Just a flare of the gool ol' Lupus. To quote , PPFFFFT! Love, MM

Guest guest
Deanna, I've been trying to sleep, but had a rheumy appt. today, and found out I have a swelling under my right armpit, and it has been causing a large amount of my trouble. Very infected, SED rate super high, and bloodwork reflects large disturbance going on. So, back on antibiotics, ICK, and taking large capsules of Lactobacillus to counteract the intestinal woe that goes with the antibiotics. Such fun. Hope you and Mike do better with that doc than YOU did before. Praying still. Love, MM

Guest guest
Hiya Becks, Yup, you got that right. How are you? How is doing this year? I am having a tough time with my 15 year old, and partly due to a change in meds. Too much Prozac, I think, so I have been emptying out about half of his capsule each morning for the last two days, we'll see how it goes. Can't talk to the doc until Monday. Take care. Love you, MM
Guest guest
Abbie, I would be consulting a lawyer about now, and asking for an investigation into the surgery that was done on you. Someone probably dropped a cauterizing tool on your abdomen, and that is not ok. The surgeon(s), nurses, and OR supervisor should be held responsible, and that hospital should be paying for your care until that burn is healed. What a thing to have happen. I would be livid. Please follow up and ask your doctor what really happened, and get it in writing. Keep us posted on your progress, ok? I almost died last november over what was supposed to be a routine outpatient hernia surgery. It ended up being almost three weeks in the hospital and on the third emergency middle of the night surgery,, it was so bad they called my mom and told her that family members needed to get to the hospital asap because they couldn't find where the internal bleeding was and I would likely die. Thank God the surgeon just happened to spot it at the last moment, but please go to the medical board of examiners and get all of you records before hand. The surgeon who is going to try to fix the hernia in the same place read all of last years charts and called it at the least, gross negligence and is sending us to the same place. I guess you state your complaint and then the dr has to explain to this board of other dr's what they did and why. In my case there would be LOTS of whys! a
