what are you thankful for?

I briefly had a moment of weakness and considered going 3 hours to my parents'

new lake home(lastest carrot) for Thanksgiving but thankfully came to my senses.

14 people couped up for 24 hours - eek! I emailed my decline of their

invitations last night. She wrote a fairly normal email response with a recipe

from her apparently latest sudo-adopted daughters' email attached about them

spending " such nice time together. " All in all mild though for nada. I was

surprised. Then today I get two calls from nada's old friend. Thankfully I

have caller id so I didn't pick up. I am positive she was calling me to either

reprimand me for not talking to nada or beg me to reconcile with her. So this

Thanksgiving I am very thankful for caller id.
