Guest guest
Greetings All! I debated a long time before posting this question. If I step on toes, please forgive! I am a graduate (albeit a failure) of wls... I had one of the " original " gastroplasties in 1988. Lost about 85 lbs. Got pregnant. Life went on. Eventually gained all 85 lbs back + 60 more! I'm now contemplating a " revision " (i.e., open rny proximal). My main FEAR is another failure. Now that I have 145lbs to lose, 4 years from now will I have gained it + another 25?!?! I've " lurked " at several sites, wanting information/experiences mainly from people 5+ years post. Everything I've read so far is from about two years post and everyone is still in the " honeymoon " phase. I was, too, in 1987. 1990 was a different story, however! I just don't want to waste my time, emotions and resources for a " yo-yo " ride again... Any comments?
