Guest guest
Hi , in answer to your question ,`Who says ,You Guys, not ya'll`...... I was raised in California, We said `You Guys, instead of ya'll.' I moved to Texas when I was sixteen, and before I knew it I was saying `ya'll' just like a good Texan. I also learned to say `fixin'to,' instead of `about to 'do something. And I start all my sentences with...`Way..ull '...instead of `well..' My California relatives laughed their butts off when I went back for a visit. I was married to a Yankee from Buffalo N.Y. for a while many years ago. He used to say, ` All'a Youse .' and `Leave me go' . I always loved the different dialects, and accents, and cultures we find here in the good ole U.S.A. I had some mexican roommates, once and picked up a lot of their stuff too.....like ,`Mi'ja, & mi'jo 'instead of Mi hija, & Mi hijo.Meaning `my baby girl ,and My baby boy .' I still tell my grandchildren," No llores....no llores, Mijita ,mia."......Don't cry...don't cry My little baby girl, ' 'Tu abuela es aqui,......Your Grandmother is here.' So `nuff o' that jibba-jabba'! Love & PEACE LONEWOLF
