Vitamin Research Products sells GSE in a tiny capsule. It is in powder form.

Maybe that way it would be easier to hide.

I had absolutely no problem at all when hiding 1-3 drops in 1/2 jar peach

flavored baby food. Eventually my son also took it in pear baby food, which I

preferred as it isn't as phenolly as peach sauce. If you try a little

yourself in the peach sauce, you'll be able to see. One of the two leading

brands had a stronger peach taste which hid it better. Forget now which brand

it was, as I can't use GSE on my son any more.

We've always used orange juice to disguise the flavor, and it does pretty

good. Good luck!

Boy, I sure would like to know the answer to this as well!

Also, I would like to know if anyone knows the benefits of using

Evening Primrose Oil as well!

Any input about these two subjects would be greatly appreciated

to me too!

Thanks Debbie - but why can't you use this on your son anymore?

Hi Terri,

I put drops of GSE inside a small capsule and hide the capsule in the

food like rice, oatmeal, banana or any puree.

Hi Terri

I out one drop in 200mls of half and half pineapple juice and filtered water.

Sam is so used to having yucky stuff in his juice he doesn't know what the

'naked' taste would be like :(

Good luck

Hmmm my daughter never seems to notice the taste at all. I am

surprised your child can taste one drop. Maybe try some stronger

tasting juice that he can tolerate. Lemonade? Pineapple?

Terri,

I give my son GSE in a glass of warm water with some lemon juice and

stevia (for sweetness), and call it " lemon tea " . This way he drinks

it OK.

you made me laugh! have you not tried a drop on your tongue? I have

been trying to take and I really have to work myself up to it - its so intensley

bitter and therefore it lingers in your mouth. Thanks for the hints. I will

work on it.

We also put GSE into a small capsule, but Lara takes it just like

that - as a capsule. I guess this won't work if your child is not

taking capsules.

good luck, Rubby

My 3 yr old swallows capsules with the help of a pill shooter - I just use an

empty capsule and put the GSE in it and down it goes!!

The only way my son will take supplements is with a syringe. I

squirt it in. I use to use grape juice. Now he takes anything. I

have tried the pill shooter w/ certain supplements but have not had

much success. With the syringe, I have the attitude, sorry but you

are taking this and Jack seems to understand. Jack seems to know

when I will not take no for an answer. He also seems to understand

when I am not comfortable with something.

I feel the supplements will help him so I give him everything with

a positive attitude. " This is good for you. " He started early

taking seizure meds at two and chelating since he was 4. I am sure

I am very lucky with how well Jack takes his supplements but I also

was never wishy washy about it.

You can also try freezing grapejuice and putting a drop or two

midway through the ice and before they realize it tastes terrible

they forget about it.
