ER (me)

Ended up in the ER last night. Could not stop coughing, could not catch my

breath, inhaler did not help. They gave me a breathing treatment

(nebulizer) which helped quite a bit, took an x-ray, called it bronchitis,

said to keep taking my inhaler every 4 hours, and sent me home with a script

for cough medicine. Goooooood stuff, let me tell you. This is my first

real venture out of bed today...at 4pm! But I can breathe again. Hooray!

OK I am going to go sit on the couch now...and pretend not to see my

disgusting house...*sigh*

Sara,

try to get whatever rest you can. You must be totally drained. I

know what it is like to be stuck in bed and looking a dirty house. I

was doing the same thing last yr. Hope you feel better soon!

Thanks everybody.

> Glad your ok! What kind of cough syrup did they give you?

Guifa...umm...Guaifenesin & Hydrocodone. Expectorant & low dose narcotic

which acts as a cough suppressant. Woo-woo. I have only been taking 1/2

doses...took a full one at bedtime last night - 10pm - slept until noon!!!

Good stuff tho, I can finally take a deep breath again.

Thanks,

-Sara.
