Guest guest
Good. I'm glad you have help. You are just so matter-of-fact about all this, like it's no big deal. I'm sure if I had to deal with what you describe I would be in a hospital or a mental ward. Thank God I could admittance to either! Guest guest
LOL Sher, I'm sure you wouldn't be in either of them. It's no fun at all! I've been through this twice before 3 years ago and by the time everything was over I had lost 50 pounds, this time though my system can't handle it. At the moment I'm just looking forward to San . Guest guest
I would probably be in prison for what I would have done to that nurse....lol Of course Irene wanted to strangle her, but when she went back, the nurse was off that day. Probably a very good move on her part. > > Good. I'm glad you have help. > You are just so matter-of-fact about all this, like it's no big deal. Guest guest
Irene...if you've been through this twice before...what was the dx then? Why does "it" reoccur? I hope you can make it to San An too. Wish I could go. Mama-Sher, 69, IPF 3-06, OR.Don't fret about tomorrow, God is already there!
Guest guest
Sher, it was bowel thickening (obstruction of the small bowel), which I required TPN (feeding tube through a vein) and a month in hospital. Why it occurred because of the nurse wasn't carefull when she injected the blood thinner and injected it right on the bowel were my Crohn's is located. Before that I was doing OK! 2nd) it can re-occur at any point because the bowel flares, it gets narrow and doesn't allow for food to be processed. It's a part of the process of Crohn's Disease 3rd) it can re-occur because of scar tissue The surgery that I'm going to have and I've been wanting....is they will go inside, they will remove the diseased part of the small intestine and reconnected to the large colon. Guest guest
, thanks for the websites. The blood thinner medication I received, the name was Dalteparin Sodium, which caused severe problems and still is....
