Unless I can get to my computer fast enough. Becky, It sounds like you may have a virus (keylogger, hijacker, etc.) on your computer. Please update and run your anti virus software. Anti virus software is useless if you don't remember to manually update it and run the stuff. Most programs claim that they always update and run all by themselves, but most of them need a little help from us to stay up to date and to keep our computers clean. Please manually update and run your anti virus program at least once a week. There are good, free anti virus programs. Avira Antivir, Microsoft Security Essentials, and Grisoft AVG are three that come to mind. They are simple to install and straight forward to use. http://preview.tinyurl.com/cmthd9 http://www.microsoft.com/Security_Essentials/ http://free.avg.com/us-en/download-avg-anti-virus-free It would also be a good idea to download, install, and run the free version of Malwarebytes: http://www.malwarebytes.org/ Keeping Lavasoft's Ad-Aware running in the background doesn't hurt either. http://www.lavasoft.com/products/ad_aware_free.php Lyndi
Guest guest
I'd also add a keystroke scrambler. When someone is getting your information it can be one of the issues Lyndi mentioned that captures your keystrokes (most likely) or they have to be actively looking for your keystrokes (more remote but help desks deal with this issue daily). A keystroke scrambler program replaces every letter you type with a random letter. So that anyone looking to capture your keystrokes in either manner will get the scrambled letters. To you, the scrambled letters display in a separate window, so you can go ahead and type normally.
