Guest guest
>Wow, thank you. It makes me feel a little better that I'm not the only one who has gone through this.< I think most dispatchers have. Police officers get used to working with certain dispatchers, who know what they want, are able to get it very quickly. When a new dispatcher comes in, they automatically dread having to " train the newbie " . Many don't think of this but officers are involved in the training of dispatchers also. It's not easy for them. I lost your original message, so I may be out of line here. It seems to me that you said they indicated you were " always messing up " .... Are you? If so there's a problem somewhere that needs attention. Talk to trainers, supervisors, whoever can help. See what's going on and make sure you're being treated fairly.
