I use Melatonin quite often and it definitely helps me. I looked up

some studies a while back on the sleep problems common with liver

disease and several suggested that altered melatonin levels might be

involved, so it seemed reasonable that taking melatonin might help. My

GI doctor OK'd it too.. in fact he said it was probably a safer

alternative than most any other sleep aid.

wasn't there some discussion at one time that the problem with melatonin was

it's immune enhancing ability?

I do know that Norm Hoffman used it and as we all know, he was doing just

fine.
