Guest guest
Thanks for the advice about stretching and the info on the Stretching Scientifically book to all you who responded. I think I'll have to order the book, as stretching is my main concern now, and since I'm finishing up my physical therapy I'll be on my own and won't have anyone to run to for advice. I've been trying to do the flexion stretch every hour or two ten times as recommended by the PT, but it sure keeps the hip in a constant state of soreness. I just feel stuck but maybe (probably) I'm being impatient as usual. I really want to be able to tie my shoe! Also, there seems to be concern by the PT that if you slack off on your stretching the hip heals up in a shortened state and then is practically impossible to get loosened up again. I guess like when someone breaks their leg and doesn't stretch after recovery and winds up with a permanent limp. Richie--SOOOO HAPPY for you!!! I've been hoping and praying for a positive outcome, and was delighted to hear you are now a genuine surface hippy. Can't wait to hear the story in your own words, as I'm sure you'll have us all in stitches - pardon the pun, or as you would say, hehehehe lol! All the Best, Heidi _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp
