She's gone to AA to look good at court and it will help in the sentencing part of her trial. Anybody out there watch court tv? I live in a city with a million (I think) people, and there aren't any here, unless they are well hidden. Guest guest Posted June 22, 2000 Report Share Posted June 22, 2000 In any city of a million people, there will be a large number of individual therapists (psychologists, psychiatrists, LICSW's, etc.) who treat people with addiction problems, and a number of private therapy groups. Besides, Kishline's Jan. 20 message (reproduced as a link on Peele's site) said she would be going to SMART and WFS as well as AA. Besides, I gotta believe that if you are the founder of MM you can call up any of scads of people in the mental health field, and they will listen to you most carefully, advise you, and perhaps offer to treat you for free. Besides, if you're looking for a little social aspect, you could always go to an MM meeting ;-) Also, your social position in AA is going to be very unusual -- you can aspire to be some sort of notorious 'reformed Devil,' but not really a regular AA member.
