From reading your post, I think you must go. Absolutely !!!!! I wish I

could go too, but between work and family there is little time left over.

Absorb everything and then make sure to share with all of us. I know we

Is this the same conference that took place in France last year? Or

is that something different. My understanding is that many different

surgeons go, no? Is there such a thing as a transcript of the

seminar? I guess its obvious by now that I don't know exactly what

this is. Where is it being held in June?

As you know , my dh and I area also trying to go. Maybe be could

share a room? I'll look into a Embassy wuites or someplace big enoughfor

The ASBS conference is the American Society for Bariatric surgeon's annual

conference which is being held in Memphis from June 14-17, 2000. Sounds

like several of us are interested/planning to attend. We should all get

I don't know about bringing our own cats. Bob may want to go swimming with

'em in the hotel pool. I think rental cats might already know this trick

Dear michelle and all,

I will be at the conference in Memphis. It will be fun to meet you and any of

our " family " who attends. I start a new job Monday as coordinator of our new

(to be developed) Weight Loss Surgery Program. I am an R.N. who has worked in

administration and development for years and had the surgery 11 1\2 months

ago. I have lost 120# and have about 10 to 14 # to go. So any way I will be

going to this conference with our Bariatric surgeon. It will be great to get

together there and swap war stories.
