Ok, I am gonna fess up. My husband thought it was funny so I will

share.

Yesterday, my HD decided he would have the semen analysis done after

all. He originally said no, I convinced him anyhow so we called

Dr. L and they sent the lab order to the lab here.

We went down there together to pick up the collection cup and the

order. well apparently the lab doesn't do to many of these because

the nurse was blushing like you would not believe as she was

explaining about how we had to collect the specimin and have it back

within 20 minutes. Then she goes on to apologize that there isn't

a " collection room " available. to which my dh (i smacked him)

says " what, you don't have a bathroom? " Then seeing as she is

blushing furiously, he asks her if it will disturb the specimin if

his wives saliva is in it? " I smacked him again and then blushed. The

nurse ignores this and then reads the order and notices that Dr. l is

in Louisville and asks us if we are from Kentucky. We tell her no,

She asks us why are we having this test done from a Dr in Kentucky

and then starts asking my husband if he has had a vasectomy or

something and is checking to make sure he is sterile. Well I get a

little mad about her nosyness and tell her that we just like to

travel around and have random tests performed by Dr.s from all over

the united states and said " Just last week I had a mammiogram in

Florida, it was a blast! " rofl ok, it was mean of me, but I never

said I was an angel like my dear sis Pam I can blame it on

hormones too until Auntie Flo leaves me.

So anyhow, we got the specimin collected - lol - and are waiting to

hear back from Dr. L. We are sure it was fine, but wanted to be sure.

I would have loved to see the look on her face! LOL When we were in the

military, one of my daycare kids (who lived with us 5 days a week because of

mom's job) was biracial and right in between our dd's. Anyway, he called dh

" Daddy " because he was the only daddy he knew. You should have seen the looks

we used to get when we were out and had 2 blonde(very Finish looking..dh's

parents are from Finland) and him in the middle. They got some interesting

remarks back in return, is all I can say! LOL

I love it. Right after we got married, we went and had family

pictures taken. The photographer took on look at and said

you look just like your momma, then she looked at , who favors

my ex, then looked at my husband and I and said " ummm and you have

blue eyes like your parents " . LOL - has sky blue eyes, mine

are silver blue and 's are a blue-green hazel color. It was so

funny. and didn't understand what we were laughing

at. Thanks for sharing your story, I can't resist tweaking the noses

of nosy people. <spank my hand> I know I should resist, but it is so

hard to be good sometimes.

Dear sis Kim,

You're dear sis Pam is convinced that you are married to 's

brother, your DH sounds so much like him it's not funny. I did not

go with when he got his SA done, I was at home in bed

recovering from a broken foot. Another funny story that I'm sure one

of the sisters would love to tell on me. Anyhow...

If I had gone with him the nurse would have more than likely died fro

m embarassment.

Hope all your DH's little swimmers are doing well.....

Dear Kim sis,

Our dear pam sis and her soon to be DH were playin Tag in the bedroom. She

learned quickly that dressers ( contrary to popular belief ) are not made of

pillows that look like wood but are actually made of wood!

You're dear sis Pam is convinced that you are married to 's

brother, your DH sounds so much like him it's not funny. I did not

go with when he got his SA done, I was at home in bed

recovering from a broken foot. Another funny story that I'm sure one

of the sisters would love to tell on me. Anyhow...

If I had gone with him the nurse would have more than likely died fro

m embarassment.
