Has Dr. Gross written a letter to your insurance co. on your behalf? or do

you need an OS who participates in the plan in order to get approval? You

might try contacting OS's who work with area Ballet companies - they may

have heard about the success of Wm. Starret - a surfer who is a dancer in S.

Carolina, I believe. You might also try sports medicine OS's...

If it's the case that your insurance co. is saying " no " because it's

investigational, you might try filing a complaint with your state

commissioner of insurance, if you have one. Raise the issue that Medicare

compensates for this, so at some level at least one sector of our government

has some faith in this procedure! Phone your state legislators & ask for

help. I know how exhausting this process is, but don't give up hope!
