Hugs Tina. I've been there for about a month now. Hope you recover quicker

than I have so far.

I hate being sick!

I think I'm finally getting what Mark had. I feel like shit!!!!!!

My ears are plugged. My lungs hurt to breath. I have a sore throat.

My nose is running like a facet. I keep sneezing and coughing.

Coughing up flem. My body aches. I'm tired, and I really don't want

to be at work right now. Yuck, yuck, yuck!!!!!! This sucks.

Ya, I wish the rest of the world worked that way.

My nose is getting really sore now too! But I did find out that

Quizno's napkins are a lot softer than most other napkins.

Tina W.-who is at work and ran out of regular tissues, and is now

using napkins. :(

I am a calibration technition. I calibrate gages like calipers,

indicators, and micrometers. I also program a C.M.M. (Coordinate

Measuring Machine). It's a machine that checks part to tell us if

they are good or not. I work in a office that is locked and no one

can get in unless I open the door. That's nice because on days like

today I hide out and check my messages! Now don't tell anyone now

okay. LOL

Sounds like you have what I am starting to get over...it has not been any

fun! Tylenol, sudafed, robitussin DM, and antibiotics were what it took

here. Hot steamy showers helped, also hot drinks and popsicles. (Not at

the same time! :)

Take good care of yourself!! I hope you are feeling much better very soon.

I took some Distrol Cold last night but by 4 a.m. it was wearing off

and I was doing nothing but tossing and turning. So I went to sleep

on the couch so I didn't wake up. That worked until Mark woke

up and wanted to sleep on the couch too. :( So I went back to bed.

When got up he ran and got me nyquil. I took some at Noon when

I laid Mark down for a nap. It knocked me out. Now I don't want to

take anymore until either gets home or Mark goes back to bed

because I kow it will make me sleep some more.

I should use this opportunity to quit smoking! When I have a

cigerette it makes me light headed and my lips numb. Do you think I

can do it? hahahahahahaha YA RIGHT!

Hot steamy showers helped,

Oh ya I did this last night and while I was in the shower tried

calling home. He rushed home because I didn't answer the house phone

or the cell phone. He thought something was wrong. All I was doing

was sitting in a very hot bath.

It's nice to have someone worry about me!

That sounds almost exactly like my husband's job. Is your company

hiring??

No they aren't hiring right now. But they will be when I quit, if I

get my work at home thing going. Actually I started it, now I just

have to start making money so I tell them people at my job to f*ck

off! Sorry they make me so mad and I hate my boss. He never has

anything good to say. I'll let you know when I quit because then

they will be hiring. ;) I'm the only one right now who does my job

in this plant. Plus I do the same job for two of our other plants.

It's good job security when things get slow.

Best of luck with working at home. I'm teaching myself how to make

webpages and hope to make a little extra income doing that.

I was only 1/2 kidding when I asked. Mike's plant may be closing in

December. The federal arbitrator is supposed to make his decision on

the 20th. The company says if he decides in the unions favor that

they will close the factory. So he may be looking for a job. :o(

I'd almost rather know that he's out of a job NOW. This waiting is

killing us. This has been dragging on for six months.
