Guest guest
I say it's the air. I'm 3 counties north of and we had a suicide yesterday that took 2 shots (chest & head) . . . worst part is that he called and told us he was going to do it. Was the first of that type of call for the dispatcher that was working (only 2 years experience) so she took it hard. Hopefully it's out of the system now . . . Subject: Re: A first for me.. Maybe its the gas prices in the area? Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, totally worn out, thoroughly used up, and loudly proclaiming, " WOW.....WHAT A RIDE!!! " 911:: A first for me.. Well, tonight was the night for suicides and attempted suicides. Something in the air, I guess. Besides the usual shotgun-to-the-head, I had a guy that chopped up castor beans and ate them. If you aren't familiar with castor beans, they are a common plant...however, highly toxic. You can make ricin out of castor beans. He's not dead yet, but he's got a painful few days ahead of him and then he will most likely be dead. Geesh. in Michigan -- " It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? Guest guest
I can't believe that after such a long winter that somone would choose a beautiful spring to end their life. When all around them new life and growth is emerging, why would you want to end it all. Spring has always been to me a symbol of hope and rebirth....it's a real mystery.
