Guest guest
We actually live in AL. No we are not the stereotypical Alabamians. I was just curious as to what a stereotypical Alabamian actually is. I was born and raised in north Alabama. I have traveled quite extensively with my previous job and also some for pleasure. I've also lived in several other places (twice in Germany, twice in El Paso, TX, once in Texarkana, TX, once in St. Louis, MO, and once in Montgomery, AL). I won't say that I will never live anywhere other than north Alabama since I said that after I graduated from college in 1990 and ended up eating those words. I thank God on a regular basis that I was able to come back to Alabama in 1993 and I hope that I am able to live the rest of my life right here in north Alabama, because, frankly, there is no place on earth that I'd rather be! I love my southern accent, my southern hospitality, and my southern charm! I love our mild (or practically non-existent) winters. Of course, I must admit that with a higher per capita education than almost any other city in the U.S., Huntsville, AL may not really be a 'stereotypical Alabama' town. I'm just a little curious as to what a stereotypical Alabamian is so I can decide if I fit the mold! W
