Rose, Sounds like all your Dr did was pile on more stress. I am no Dr and

do not claim to know a whole lot but have gotten mine under control. Stress

is something that we cannot control, I have found this out with my 68 years

of living. But you can change the way you eat and you can exercise. Your

home life may can be adjusted I don't know the problems there but diabetes

is depressing in it self. Read Diabetes Type 2 The first year and Diabetes

for dummies. Do you need to loose weight? and are you a type 2? Helen

(unknown)

I was diagnosed 2 months ago and saw my doctor again on Tuesday. I

have been very depressed, feel like I am a failure because my glucose

numbers are consistantly high, my diet is not good, I have no

regular schedule other than to be at work at 8:00 a.m. After that

everything goes whereever-whatever. I have a lot of stress in my work

life, home life and basically have no social life. I have used up all

my savings on meds and don't know how I can afford them now. I do

have insurance that pays a percentage on meds so I do not qualify for

any type of assistance for that.

Yesterday the doctor laid it all out on the line for me. My life is

like a train running full speed ahead over a cliff. Only I can pull

the stop cord before it is too late. I need to reduce the stress at

work and at home. I need to eat properly and get my blood glucose

under control. I need to exercise more. I need adiquate sleep. I need

to get out of the house and involved in something I enjoy. I need to

set up rigid schedules in every aspect of my life and then stick to

them. I need to get my life under control or I could die. She said

plain and simply " DO IT OR YOU WILL DIE. " It has caused me to stop

and think. It will take some time to reverse my run away lifestyle

and gain some control. But I can do it a bit at a time.

Rose

For information on FMS literate doctors and other professionals, email Betsy at kindness@.... With your brief request, give her your exact location, and include the name of the nearest larger city or town if yours is tiny. She does not deal with CMP or CFIDS at all, although they share symptoms. Just FMS. Alassante7 wrote: Can I get more info for fibrobetsy?

Documenting MS in your life must be made by a  trained doctor (neurologist)

using an MRI and Gadmolinium picture enhancer, there are quite a few diseases

that have the same symptoms (Lupus, Lymes disease, and a few others)  so it

would be very good for you to seek professional opinions about your situation

Hello Mark, perhaps you can tell us the difference between M/S and Chronic Late

Stage Lyme disease. Even though there are no reliable blood tests for either

one.....RP

Hi Pam,

Sorry this group did not work out for you.

In regard to your husband's cancer, Low Dose Naltrexone is proving to be

amazingly effective in treating certain types of cancer--with minimal side

effects and at a price anyone can afford.
