Guest guest
, Sorry to hear that you are having such a difficult time with everything right now. I can only imagine how frustrating it must be to feel so awful yet have relatively normal numbers. Quick question, where to you live in Georgia or if in Atlanta, what side? I have a friend starting a business utilizing infrared saunas. The theory is that the infrared creates radiant heat that heats the body and not the air, which is different from conventional saunas that primarily heat the air. This radiant heat focuses the energy on heating the tissue (muscles, etc) below the skins surface instead of the air and primarily the skins surface. This creates a very therapeutic effect. The only down side that has been documented is that it should not be used if you suffer from high blood pressure or in PSCers case (depending on stage) are at greater risk of bleeding. I hand a chance to try it out when I was in Atlanta a couple of months ago and very much enjoyed it. Whether it was in my head or not, my UC was more under control and I felt more energized the following day. It is supposed to be excellent for joint/back pain. He has several physicians referring patients to him. If you're interested, let me know. They are in Woodstock. Hope you begin to feel better soon and can find a face-to-face support group near you. Take care! Darin
