Guest guest
thank you steve, robin i am so sorry to here that you are in the hospital i know first hand how it feels to be in and out of the hospital. i hate when people say well you don't look sick. you just don't know how i would just like to give them a huge back hand right acroos the face, but since i'm not like that i just tell them that if i was as ugly as my inside then i would look worse then a troll. well I hope everyone is having a good and pain free day. i had to do my least favorite thing today i had to go and get my teeth cleaned boy!!!! what fun!!! as if we don't have enough doctors appoinments. I have three in three conxecutive days.
Guest guest
hi becky!!!!! nothing much!! i'm just taking it easy and pondering a few thoughts about this surgery that the doc's want me to have. one doc said that he would rather see me be treated with oral pain meds another wants me to have this surgery so I won't have to take pain pills anymore and then the other doc wants to try and find some other treatment besides pain meds and surgery to help with the panc. pain. the things that we don't go through. becky email me personally and we can talk mor that way. I hope that everyone is doing wel;l

I will be in University Indiana Medical Center. Dr. Lehman is supposed to take my stint out and put another one in. How about you, which hospital and who is the doctor. Why are having stints put in? Do you have divisim also. What is your surgery? Shirley
Guest guest
hi shirley, no i have what they call small duct disease. they are putting in these stents to open up my duct. the doctor is Gioe and the hospital is Memorial in Gulfport. the surgery that I may be having is a laparoscopic splencnectomy were they will be counting the two nerves called the splentnic nerve which is thought to be the one that causes pancreatic pain. i don't know much about the surgery but from what i do know I will be in a lot of pain the first night after surgery and then the pain will get better by the third and fourth day after surgery. I will write more when i find out more
