Guest guest
Bonnie - Welcome to the group although I'm sorry you have reason to be here and sorry to hear about your myomas. Your history does sound " classic " for Asherman's but you should definitely go see a specialist and have either an HSG or a diagnostic hysteroscopy to make sure this is what you are dealing with. We are here to help every step of the way. Hang in there, I hope you have some answers soon. Gwen
Guest guest
Gwen, Thanks for your reply.I was hoping that my age-50 and the fact that I had a UAE(utreine artery embolization) were really responsible Are there any of you who have had Asherman's following a myomectomy? I see tht HSG or hysteroscopy seem to be the the tools by which Ashermans is diagnosed. Is MRI of any use? I find the thought of either of the " Hysters " quite invasive.I also worry about creating a problem by doing these diagnostics Thoughts? suggestions Best, Bonnie gwenhassan wrote: > Bonnie - Welcome to the group although I'm sorry you have reason to > be here and sorry to hear about your myomas. Guest guest
Gwen, Sorry there a couple of things I wanted to add- I am not looking to have a child,at my age. The FSH was 29 in Sept and again in Nov.but last Jan. it was 45,so its bouncing around. I do get hot flashes and the occasional night sweat. And I guess lastly its the concern ,I have just expressed over the diagnostics involved to diagnose Asherman's-I feel uncertain about entry of the uterine cavity 5 months post surgically. Okay, just wanted to " flesh out " my case a bit more Thanks for your help Best, Bonnie " Pedro B.
