Guest guest
Kimi, Don't worry about it, kiddo. We all have down days, need attention, and feel neglected...like I said to Ardie, it goes with the Lupus territory. Glad you didn't leave us. Hugs, MM
Guest guest
Kimi .. you didnt start anything .. you stated your feelings .. and that is what was needed at the time! You needed acknowledgement and said so .. that is what this group is all about .. asking for what you need .. never feel like you should keep your mouth shut.. a good shake up is good every once in awhile. hugs to you .. Guest guest
Jane...golly whiz, that flu is lingering way too long! Sorry you are still fighting it. Let's hope this week brings a let-up. hugs and tea and crumpets! Mama-Sher, age 69. UIP (IPF?) 3-06, OR.Don't fret about tomorrow, God is already there! Hi Everyone Well, I'm still suffering. Better than I was last Thursday. Fever & chills & sweats are gone. Sit up a while, lay down a while, sleep awhile, etc. Part of this flu has been the stomach flu. Diarhrea still lurks. Coughing up stuff, and expectorating. Sats have not yet returned to where they where. But my doctor told me that they would. I have been in the house for 6 days in a row. I have heard of so many people having this flu. I have heard of people taking up to 3 weeks to get over this and I am sure that will be for me. Max & I had it out day before yesterday and the next day, he was so obedient. Eddie is staying away from the house as much as possible. Hope everyone avoids this flu! Toodles! Guest guest
I feel so bad for you, Jane. My mom has had it for the last 3 weeks, too. Can't believe my dad didn't get, too. Hopefully I want, but I think this is the worst year ever in Mississippi, I know, for flu epidemic. Hope you feel better soon and take care!! CaroJane wrote: Well, I'm still suffering. Guest guest
You are so lucky to have a husband who is caring. I live alone and would love to have someone here just to share the day to day events with this disease. I hope the prednisone helps you. I have taken it before only on tapering doses and it usually always helps me through the rough spot. CaroJane wrote: Thank you, Caro, hope your Mom feels better soon. I am just trying to be patient about all of this. I have called the doctor and requested a Prednisone Dose Pack and I will go to the doctor tomorrow at 1:00. He can listen to me and hear how I am doing. I am doing all that I can do, especially by staying in. My husband, Eddie, has agreed to drive me to the doctor tomorrow. He will have to leave work early. And he has agreed to not go to the second job tonight so we can catch up on paperwork & bills. Being sick always gets me so far behind. I am so glad Eddie is being cooperative. Toodles! Jane UIP/IPF 12/1998 Dalton, Georgia aka pianolady_musicgirl > Well, I'm still suffering. Better than I was last Thursday.
