I went to reb lobster the other night with some friends and I ordered

from the appetizers, I got shrimp cocktail and that was plenty and

was great protein. If I cant find anything on that side that I want I

get a meal and take home the rest for lunch the next day.

that stage where I'm wishing I could go out to eat, order my

favorite food and just eat it( at least 1/2). I wouldn't say I'm

totally depressed but it does get to me at times. How did you learn

to cope with it? And, say your friends want to go out for pizza

and beer---what do you do? Do you eat a little pizza or what?

It has been beaten into my head about no sugar, and no high fat

foods. I went to eat with my family last week to Red Lobster, I

ordered a salad (so, no protein) but I couldnt see paying $15- $20

for a meal that I MIGHT eat 4 bites out of. I even thought about

sharing my 4 year old kids meal but it was high fat and I felt like I

would be depriving her. These are the things that start to get to

me. I don't cook so before WLS we ate out ALL the time. So this

is a really big adjustment for me as well as the family. I know we

are better off now, but still I ENJOY eating out.
