Guest guest
What can I do to help? I felt really, really awful when mine first developed, and 1.5 years later, feel close to normal most of the time. What's happening with you? Are you using meds? More info would make it easier to give support, but know that you're not alone! Guest guest
, I also react to many fabrics including nylon, polyester and acrylic. I generally wear natural fabrics. Last year, I started wearing polyester and had few problems, although all my undergarments are cotton. Only when my immune system is down do I have bad reactions (red splotches, itchiness). Guest guest
Suzanne, I was wondering what your friend takes. I notice my skin improves when I eat lots of vegetables and fruit. However, I'm lucky that I don't have any food triggers and some people have to be very careful about what they eat. Thanks! Matija Original Article: /list/rosacea-support/?start=2561 > Has anyone had success with vitamin therapy as well as your meds? I found out that a lady I had known casually for a year or so had rosecea. I had suspected that she did because she had some of the same facial symptoms that I did. Well I just saw her recently and she looked much improved. Then while talking one day she told me she had rosecea and that she was taking this vitamin regiman that had greatly improved its condition. She had also discontinued taking the meds at least temporarily because of various side effects. Her skin looked very good with only slight bumpiness on forehead and hardly any redness on cheeks or nose. Just wondered what your thoughts were on this subject. > > Suzanne > ------------------------------------------------------------------------
Guest guest
Hi Suzanne, I take a series of vitamins daily myself. I found the list that I follow in the book Prescription for Nutritional Healing by Balch and Balch. They also list a bunch of herbs and things that I haven't tried, but using the vitamins they suggest has greatly improved my skin and my health. I used to have those little bumps on my thighs and the backs of my upper arms which I've read may be due to vitamin A deficiency-all gone now! Now if I could just figure out what is causing all of these blood vessels to appear! It's like my skin is thinning everywhere and they're just popping up on my legs and back. ickkk Kerry ------------------------------------------------------------------------

A doctor who is supposed to be the authority on vitiman/minerals Dr. J. Wallach, DVM, ND his book Let's Play Doctor recommends EFA as a must! vit A 300,000 units/day (as beta carotene) for 5 months B-6 100mg 3x daily, zinc 50mg 3x daily. I followed this and also took a complete multi-vitiman and colloidal minerals. I was able to go off my antibiotics and had my break-outs down to about 5 small pimples that would come and go around my mouth area only. Considering where I was prior to following the dr's advice this was a hugh improvement. I believe in my experience that the internal balance needed to be put back so that my body could properly cleanse itself of toxins w/o causing massive break-outs. I would guess-ta-mate that I saw improvement within 2 months. I was always looking for topical med's to try at that time and I found that one might work for a couple months and then for some unknown reason just stop. So rotating the couple of med's really seemed to be the best choice for me. Currently I use no antibiotics and only the disc around my chin once in awhile. Once you have some constant redness it is harder to get rid of. However, I took the suggestions from this egroup and began to use Zia fash wash and jojoba oil and zinc oxide on my cheeks and it has toned down the red to pink! I hope this information does not confuse you I just wanted to help if I could. Darlene PS. I still take the flax at a higher amount and I believe it really is key. ------------------------------------------------------------------------

Not a big deal, the info can be valuable, but the advertisement at the bottom of the message (see below) rubbed me the wrong way! Just my opinion, and I guess we all have them! Soft Hugs To You Today & Remember,Educated People Heal Themselves! Pam D.272-246-130 No Subject Fibromyalgia A woman we just met had a miraculous story! Acupuncture entirely stops her pain for three month renewable intervals! Each treatment cures for three months, then she just goes back and has it done again! Most fibro cases are different, but sheesh! The treatment takes an hour. She sleeps for four hours afterwards. THEN NO PAIN!!! She went to:Dr Wan Accupuncture 408Sunrise AveRoseville, CA So upon recieving such encouraging inputwe investigated further, to a place we had more convenient access to. We found in the Yellow Pages: Dr Ming Kui was Dr of the Year 1979 in China. He and Dr Lu Zhan (Pronounced Lu Schan, a woman) have a pain clinic but also successfully treat a huge multitude of radically bad ailments. We were both quite impressed by the positive and self-confident attitude there! There was a large reduction in fibromyalgia pain within the first 30 minutes, and there was also an herb mixture for eliminating the arthritis. Acupuncture, and herbal medicines are Chinese have worked on natural treatments for over 5,000 years! In true Chinese medicine they use over 5,000 different herbs. In US taught schools, only 400. A poor substitute! Arthritis is not a problem in China! Cure rate 95%! It is a huge problem here. Cure rate 0%! What absurd conceit makes you think that technology, combined witha profit making structure would do the same in the last 120 years? Dr Ming Kui, and Dr Lu Zhan are both at: 16425 S. Guest guest
I tried accupauncture, many times and found only transient relief, mayble a week or two at best and had to continue going, which battling public transportation in New York is difficult for the health. But I am glad it worked for her. I sincerely believe there maybe two or three disorders that are called Fibromyalgia, there certainly is a variety of intensity. Guest guest
This is Liz from El Centro CA. I'm not sure if I'm the right Liz. I not able to get on the computer everyday. Here my reply. I live in El Centro , CA. The Dr. that I go to is at UCSD. San Diego is about 2 hours from where I live , but it is worth the drive. His name is Dr. Micheal Ziegler. He works closely with Dr. Roberson at Vanderbult. He even helped him write a chapter in his book. He is the best I've found. So if anyone can get to San Diego he is the one to see. Last visit there was a man waiting to see him who SDS. I was to shy to ask if he had it. I found out after I got into the little cube. He said that he sees about 25 patents with SDS. Best of luck to you all. My prayers are with you all.
