I can't afford expensive care, doctors or medicines. Hi . Unfortunately, I know about unbearable pain. Been in it more or less since 1992. My approach now is to take it one day at a time. I've been to every Dr. imaginable, and I've learned to weed out the hideous-in it for a buck think you're faking it, to the truly concerned, morally responsible ones. I've got a great primary care Dr. and a good psychiatrist. I've learned you can survive and even learn to live with a certain amount of pain. It is possible; although sometimes you DO feel like you're about to give up. It helps to have good friends and a supportive family and (in my case) unshakeable faith in God. Guest guest Posted May 24, 2010 Report Share Posted May 24, 2010 Dear I understanding living with unbearable pain and with me my Docs refused to see I had a back issue cause I was so young, so I got little pain meds and little testing for 13 years. So, it wasn't until late 2003 we got Kasier as an insurance company I saw this doc and at first he didn't believe me but he let me prove it to him. I had surgery in 2004 on my back and ever since then he trusted me that I knew my body and has done everything to get answers for me. My problems pain meds aren't a problem to much but he also took my advice when I found what I thought was a DX for me. He made some calls wham I'm in to see this doc for treatment for that DX and I was right again. can you get on medicare?
