I just wanted to tell you, last year at this time was my first and only attempt at ivf. I hardly had a period prior to this and still had quite a bit of scarring in my uterus. I think my RE was just hoping for the best for us and didn't realize what a risk I was. I also hadn't found this group yet! Anyway, my period was just very light spotting for close to a year.. After the ivf failed my dh and I decided to just resign ourselves to not having another biological child. But then in August I started having a three day period again. Bright red bleeding and everything. I don't hardly have any cramps but I keep having this 3-day period. I don't know why it came back after almost a year of hardly anything, but my theory is maybe the hormones...maybe it just took my body that long to re-regulate itself after 2 years of almost constant hormone use. So there is still hope and sometimes I think it just takes time. I know time is a hard thing and some of us don't have any time left, but I wanted to share my story with you and anyone else who reads this that you're lining can and hopefully will improve.
