Hi Vivian:

I used to take BuSpar. I have Generalized Anxiety Disorder and had always had

anxiety symptoms. When they flared up badly one year, I was prescribed BuSpar.

It took about 3 weeks or so to kick in, but when it did, I felt a million times

better. It did make me dizzy for the first 10 minutes or so after taking it,

but that subsided. It was also very easy to stop taking; no ill side effects.

That was about 8 years ago. I had started taking it again last year, but I

didn't fare as well. It worked great for the anxiety and obsessive thoughts

(nothing dangerous); they disappeared. But I was waking up from the strangest

dreams with my heart racing pretty badly. I also got, what felt like, a zillion

tiny needles bursting out of my body. It was quick and over in a flash, but

freaky.

I honestly wouldn't take it again, but it was so long in between that maybe they

changed something that gave me that reaction...who knows. But, it did help me

quite a bit. I hope this helps.
