Guest guest Posted June 6, 2000 Report Share Posted June 6, 2000 I can't believe how the program is haunting me. I recieved, in the mail today, an invitation to the annual AA picnic! It was addressed to someone who had been in IOP. I have never been in IOP, I've only been abused by the assholes that have counseled IOP or been in IOP (intensive out-patient treatment). It's been 4 to 5 years since I've had anything to do with any of them. Maybe I should go and share my message.....embarrass the X and his blushing bride....hmmmmm. Ahh, I won't waste my time. I've got happier things to do. Yet it's a delectable thought....something like the little dolls that represent Sparky and his twin that I stick pins into special spots. Atheists don't have tv programs that generate millions of bucks to spread their message far and wide. atheists are blockading clinics and killing doctors. they aren't stacking school boards to get atheism back in schools(never was) and so on. a few people raise some questions about god and you act like it's some anti religion or anti god pogrom. it seems to me that a huge criticism people have with aa is that it is a religion and people don't want to be forced into some religion. am i right? so, then, the question of religion and god seems fair game. there's tons of discussion about god on here anyways, right? and finally, no one can convert you to atheism.
