Guest guest
Just to let everyone know, I went to the University Health Clinic and they used some kind of heating device that went through the toenail in less than a second. Presto, pressure gone and the service was free. It was still a bit sore all weekend but is now better. Thanks for everyones advice. I was hurting so badly on Friday I could have cut the dang thing off! I don't think I could have done the poking of the nail myself though. Caitlin You are right. It usually is numb over the area the blood is, I would have to have someone else do it now. When I was younger, I did it myself. I always tape my broken toe to the good toe providing stability.
