This was the name of the Dutch Catholic priest defrocked because of his drinking who became the " spiritual counsellor " at the 12-step farm I was in. Titus, the lead character (I think the character has the same name as the actor) is a guy whose dad is an abusive, skirt-chasing alcoholic. On the show, they did an intervention where they got the dad to drink after a month of abstinence because he was so awful to be around. It doesn't sound funny, but given my particular bias about chemical dependency treatment, it really tickled my funny bone that night. The father had stopped drinking and no one liked him anymore- so they had an intervention to get him drinking again.
