Guest guest
My son is 9, HFA. His last " professional " educational/psychological evaluation was at the Dan Marino was when he was 4 1/2. He's in public school and they did " their version " of an eval last year. The school then took away several of his IEP services after the last eval, stating he no longer qualified. So, I'm thinking it is time for another " professional " eval, but I can't afford $2,000 again for the Dan Marino Center eval. Does anyone know if there is a recommended eval schedule for autistic children? And since we don't have medicaid, and our insurance won't cover the eval, it will be out of pocket and I need a less expensive alternative to Dan Marino.
