Guest guest
Cyntha, Read your post on an endoscopy. I had one and I was put out entirely so don;t know whether I stopped breathing or not. My recollection was only that my throat was real sore afterward. Other than that - I cannot remember anything cause I was out! Hope that helps somewhat. Why are you having this done? Guest guest
Cyntha, What is this for? Robynn [ ] endoscopy Okay on the 15th of August I am going to have an endoscopy done and I am very nervous. All I know is that is scares me because when my daughter had it done she stopped breathing every time they tried to stick the tube down her throat. It makes me nervous also to be sedated. I shake whenever I think about going through this. My daughter has had trouble many times when sedated. Hee I guess I just need reassurement and pep. Have any of you had any experiences with this, I sure there is. Could you please tell me of your experience good and bad. Thanks... Guest guest
lol...sorry I was just thinking about the procedure I forgot to tell anyone why....I have severe Gerds from what they can tell from my symptoms. They want to see how bad it is and how the Helicobactor Pylori is affecting it and so forth. Probably take some biapsys *sorry can't think of spelling*. They are also concerned because it runs in the family and my grandma had Esophogeal Cancer *which she died from* which they figure was caused from Barretts Syndrome...I think it is called. Want to check for polyps and ulcers and so forth...yehaw...lots of fun huh....sorry about leaving that important portion out. Guest guest
Hi, My son is scheduled for an upper and lower endoscopy in less than two weeks. He used to have chronic diarrhea which got better after Secretin. I no longer see indigested pieces in his BM's, and his BM's don't stink to high heavens as before. Since I've been giving him enzymes. I've been looking for someone like Dr. Krigsman for 3 years, now I find him and I'm having second thoughts. I want to know every possible thing that is wrong with my son so that I can try to make him feel better. Do you guys think it is worth it for me to try such an intrusive method. I am scared of having my baby given general anesthesia. He is non-verbal, agressive (self and others) Please throw in your .02. Thanking you all as always..
