Hello, My name is Robyn. I was looking through the yahoo groups for a

pregnancy loss group for a friend of mine and I stumbled across this

group. I had a thyroidectomy back in 1999. I was seeing a specialist

who was keeping my synthroid regulated, but he moved far away and now

my family dr is tracking me. I know she does the best she can, but

they don't do a good job as far as helping me with my symptoms.

Recently I have been feeling a lot worse than normal and was starting

to think something was seriously wrong with me. Well, while doing the

dishes I happened to glance at my thyroid meds and I noticed that I

was only on 075 mcg and I am supposed to be on 175 mcg. No wonder I

wasn't feeling well, I had been on the wrong dose for a month. But,

when I brought it up to the dr's office, it was made to seem like no

big deal and my bloodwork did come back abnormal, but again, they

acted like it was no big deal. It really makes me angry because I have

been feeling like crap lately and this is my life we are dealing with.

Am I the only one who realizes that this was a serious problem?

Anyway, I am not trying to write a book here. I really just wanted to

say I am new to the group and hi...lol. I am thinking of switching to

an endo dr in the area and would love to get some feedback on

questions to ask...etc. Can't wait to meet you all.

Robyn :)
