Guest guest
MJ, go ahead and start your own group. You obviously have the time and desire to see it succeed. That will stop the second guessing going on here. kathy

Guest guest
I understand the sense of loyalty and fairness to Ken, but one cannot argue with the facts. However we arrive at the solution, an effort must be made. If Mike and others are willing, and Ken apparently is not (or is unable) then I support Mike's proposal. Let Ken decide what he wants to do, we know he is alive, he was just incognito for awhile. Give him time to fix the problem. HE IS THE MODERATOR. Mike, start your own. This one is working perfectly fine, the only problem that needs to be solved, is the issue of new members not being able to post.. doesn't seem like a big deal to me. Its just now come to a head, jeezo pete, give it a day or two, Ken might not have even known there was a problem. Its ken who decides what gos on with this one, folks. jamie in iowa

Guest guest
Hi my name is Ginger and I'd just like to be able to post in the group. I've sent a few through that have bounced back to me after not being approved. Hopefully this can get resolved soon so those of us left in the dark can participate too! Guest guest
, Ken has held this group together for many years. He is not Superman - none of us are. Crap happens. I can never think of an occasion where Ken has proven to be unfair and if he has shown to be less committed in the past few months, one must remember that sometimes bad stuff happens to good people and some folks have a life beyond this group. If you don't want to step on Ken's toes, then why don't you back up a step or two and give him a minute. I would hate to think that those who have been with the group for years and years would not give Ken the consideration of a little personal time off to attend to something more important. Ken and this group have helped me through some very tough times, understanding feelings and problems only those in our job could possibly understand. I will not abandon him until he steps down. Even the greatest of ships must be in dry dock every now and then. I am a current member and what great processing do I require? If you are hell bent on starting a new group, then start one. If Ken can no longer handle this one, then take it over.... let's just hear from Ken first. I do not think that a few days wait will cause anyone to expire. Let's hear " The King is dead " before we start yelling " Long live the King " . You asked for my opinion, for what it's worth, here it is. Guest guest
Didn't Ken post awhile back that he was going nomail and going to pretty much let the list run itself? Seems like I remember seeing that - maybe a couple of years ago (or more). Do the archives go back that far?
Guest guest
Ok, it seems Ken has been contacted, and is apparently going to get at least one or more co-moderators. That takes care of the problem, doesn't it? Weintraut -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
