Guest guest
Hi, Has anyone tried a time-released version of ALA and/or DMSA? I spoke to Coastal Compounding about time-released ALA and DMSA. They said it would be a snap to make it in capsule or pill form, and it would work fine. We need a prescription, but Dr. Jepson, our DAN! Doctor has indicated he would have no problem with it. We have been on a schedule of every weekend and every three hours. I think my daughter does not sleep all that well on the chelation nights. I know that my husband and I get a bit sleep deprived. I am happy to do it, but if there is actually a GOOD alternative for the night, I feel everyone would do better. I thought we would use the non-time release except for the 8 hour period of sleep. We give 25 mg ALA and 25 mg of DMSA every 3 hours. We have been going 4 hours at night without any negative result. Coastal said that many of their hormone therapies and other round the clock therapies REQUIRE that the medicine be compounded for uniform release over a period of time. Is this true that the technology is good enough? Thanks for any help, in Salt Lake City
