In jan. 00 I had severe pain in my lower back and buttocks area on my left side, in march it went to the other side. I wasn't diagnosed until September with avn, and finally in jan. 01 had surgery on my right side. The first six weeks I could only put 40 lbs on it and then the dr. said i could put all my weight on it and wanted me off of my crutches within two weeks which i never quite made it, it probably took about three to four weeks to get off my crutches for the most. The dr. said i should have been pain free by six weeks and it is now about twelve weeks and am still in a little pain, it is getting progressively better but still have a ways to go. I can walk a mile or more but that is about it. I would like to chat or email with someone who has gone thru this to help me with this and to know if i am on the right track.
