Dear Mr. Flatow, As a toxicologist and the father of a mercury

damaged child, I was very dissapointed with your show on autism

which aired 1/24/03. How many times do we have to listen to Neal

Halsey's lies without any presentation of the counter side? Here's

some answers your experts could not provide;

1) Gastrointestinial problems are caused by 11+ injections of

organic mercury in infants.

2) The diagnosis criteria for autism has not changed in 30 years (

see CA study, 10/2002).

3) Comparing vaccination injuries in the U.S. to Sweden is absurd

since Sweden stopped using Thimerosal in 1992, thus affecting the

rates of autism in Sweden and the ability for an infant to handle

the MMR vaccine.

4)I have lab results showing elevated levels of mercury in my

daughter as do thousands of other parents.

5) See the recently released article by Dr. Martha Herbert

(Pediatric Neurologist, Harvard University)

entitled Autism; Genes Can't Cause an Epidemic.

If the medical community spent a fraction of the money treating kids

for mercury poisoning that's been spent looking for Genes that don't

exist, these kids would be much improved. The label on these

vaccines list thimerosal as 0.01%. Mercury toxicity is measured in

part per billion (ppb). A 0.01% solution is the same as 100,000 ppb.

Water is considered contaminated at 2 ppb of inorganic mercury, by

far a less toxic form. The material safety data sheet (MSDS) for

thimerosal cautions that " this material may cause mild to severe

mental retardation in children " . " Permissive exposure limit (PEL)-

not yet determined " . I'm sorry, I have to go puke!
