I have been wearing a bladder support for 3 years, I had an appointment with my gynecologist last week due to the support causing constant bleeding, now she says she thinks it is a rectocele instead of a fallen bladder. I am to see a surgeon in a couple of weeks. I was wondering if this is a very serious surgery and how long it takes to recover. I have checked several medical sites on the internet but I trust your word much more. It seems there should be a definite way of telling whether it is the bladder or not. I have never had any problem with bladder control just pressure and very uncomfortable protrusion. Thanks ahead for any info. Martha from Mo.
